Oregon Ink Spot International Print Exchange / Ben Francy Exhibition
A two-part printmaking exhibition featuring 378 prints submitted to the 2007-08 Oregon Ink Spot International Print Exchange and the tools, prints and plates of the late Union County artist Ben Francy. An opening reception will be held Dec. 3 from 5:30-9 p.m. in Nightingale Gallery. The exhibition runs through Dec. 10.

Oregon Ink Spot International Print Exchange.
Nightingale Gallery at EOU, Loso Hall Exhibition Schedule. The exhibit will be highlighting works from the Oregon Ink Spot print exchange. The Exhibition is opening an Ink Spot fundraiser print sale that opens just in time for Christmas gift buying! In 2007 the inaugural Ink Spot exchange drew participants and in 2008 participation grew to 333 artists, representing 20 different countries. All 378 culturally rich and diverse prints will be on display and for sale at an affordable twenty-five dollars per print! This exhibition is free and open to the public. Parking on campus after 5 p.m. is also free.

Ben Francy: Tools, Plates and Prints of a Beloved Eastern Oregon Son.
The Nightingale Gallery is featuring Ben Francy. Ben was a beloved member of the Eastern Oregon community as an archeologist, musician, artist and craftsman. He is best known for moving, restoring, and installing the functional and steam-powered Lazinka Ranch Saw Mill into the High Desert Museum located just south of Bend, Oregon. And just before his passing had been approved to restore and install the Green Horn, Rabbit Mine Stamp Mill into the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. This exhibit is free and open to the public. Parking on campus after 5:00 p.m. is also free.

Horse-drawn Elk Viewing Tours
On Saturdays and Sundays experience a "Unique Point of View" with T-N-T Horsemanship. They provide Oregon's only Horse-drawn Elk Viewing Tours and have a fully handicap-accessible wagon. The year-round interpretive & viewing site is located at the Anthony Creek Feed Site in North Powder, beautifully set at the base of the Blue Mountains. There will also be Special Holiday Tours available on December 24, and everyday from December 26th through January 4th, 2009. Trips depart every half hour.

Experience the Oregon Trail up close. Walk the actual trail, see the wagon ruts, and let the many informational panels take you back to the days of covered wagons and a simpler time.
