Warrior Mens and Womens soccer get opening wins at Clackamas

Clackamas, Or- The Walla Walla Community College soccer teams were able to string 45 minutes of good play together in each of their games to get wins in their opening contest. The Warrior women defeated Clackamas 3-1, and the Warrior men defeated the Cougars 3-2 to each go 1-0 on the season. 

For the defending Woman's champions it was a slow first half as they went to halftime trailing 1-0 and then came back with a strong second 45 minutes putting goals in the net to get the win.

For the men they game out in the first and half and were dominate against Clackamas sprinting to a 3-0 lead before surrendering 2 goals in the second half.

"We need to play a full 90 minutes to get where we want to be" said head coach Chad Bodnar.

The Warriors are in action Thursday, the men take on Southwest Oregon and the women take on Lane Community College.
